A doctor again.
Actor William Daniels has signed on to appear as Christina’s (Sandra Oh) proctor in an upcoming episode of “Grey’s Anatomy.” His character will help oversee the medical boards, according to TV Line. Daniels previously played Dr. Mark Craig on “St. Elsewhere,” but others may know him as Mr. Feeney on “Boy Meets World,” or as the voice of K.I.T.T. in “Knight Rider.”
Kevin McKidd (Owen) will direct the episode in which William Daniels appears.

ADAM: I was actually on set last week and asked executive producer Erica Messer that very question. The short answer: Don’t look for it to happen right away. Messer says she’d like to mimic what the show did in Season 3 when Joe Mantegna replaced departing star Mandy Patinkin a few episodes into the season. “I feel like we come back in Season 8 without Prentiss, and we’re functioning just fine,” she says. “But there’s a void.
